FAQ and Sample Agreement

Q: How far in advance should I book my calligrapher for my wedding?

A: Typically I want clients to book about a month or two before I need to start working on their projects. So if you have a June wedding, you need to send out your invitations six to eight weeks beforehand to allow adequate time to receive RSVPs back. This also allows you time to get your tables arranged, and give a head count to your venue and caterer. Depending on your wedding size, I need about 1-3 weeks to complete an envelope order. So this would mean booking around March.

Q: Well shoot, I need send out my invites within 2 weeks. Is it too late?

A: If I have room on my calendar, I can definitely still make it happen!  These orders are called rush orders and do require a 50% rush order fee.

Q: I love the seating charts and signs I see all over Pinterest but I don't want to buy a something to write on just for one day. Do you have rentals?

A: Jessica Draper Calligraphy has various mirrors of all sizes for rent. I also have a rustic cottage door, vintage windows and chalkboards for rental as well. Ask Jessica for details!
